My approach:
Concept-first teaching — I break down each topic with memory aids that make abstract ideas stick, before drilling into technique.
Diagnostic practice — Students work through actual O-Level and A-Level TYS questions, which lets me pinpoint exactly where their understanding breaks down — whether it's the concept itself or how it's being applied.
Bridging Math and Physics — I connect Physics to math that students already know, e.g. showing that SHM's x, v, and a are simply parametric equations against t and x — turning "new" content into something familiar.
Hands-on learning — For topics like DC circuits, students work with physical props to see how a potential divider actually behaves, instead of just how it's drawn on paper.
