Account details: name, email, and for tutors the profile information you choose to publish (subjects, rates, photo, video, bio, area derived from postcode).
Activity on the platform: requests, quotes, classes, messages between matched parties, reviews, and payment records.
Payment details such as card numbers are collected and held by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
To run the service: matching tutors with learners, holding and releasing payments, keeping lesson records and receipts, and notifying you of activity on your account. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Student accounts are created and controlled by a parent or guardian, are linked to that parent’s account, and cannot make payments. We collect only the student’s name and login email, provided by the parent.
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage, Singapore region) and Stripe (payments). Both are industry-standard providers with their own security certifications.
Under the PDPA you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data (records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, such as payment records, are retained for the required period).
