Every Charge That Can Ever Touch You

Charge	When	How much
Placement fee	Once per new student — their first lesson with you	That one lesson's fee. From lesson 2, you keep 100% — forever. Halved if the trial doesn't continue.
Card surcharge	Only if you choose card over PayNow (e.g. paying for a room)	The card cost, shown at checkout before you confirm. PayNow costs nothing.
Renting a room	If you book a classroom through Learn Now	You pay the listed rate only — the 10% commission is charged to the room owner, never added to you.

Pro is optional and never affects matching or ranking. Parents pay no platform fees — family products (like Report Book) come to the parent app later.
